It’s no secret that nurse burnout is real. But when nurses and other clinical staff members are also handed the task of onboarding students and scheduling rotations, there just simply isn’t enough manpower.
Back in 2013, we faced this ongoing issue head-on when a very overwhelmed nurse named Jackie approached us for help in onboarding 5,000 students for the year. As educators in the field, we felt her pain and immediately sought out a solution.
We were shocked to find that an all-encompassing clinical rotation tool didn’t exist.
Thus our team created Rotation Manager.
Born from a burning need to make clinical rotation scheduling easier and fueled by a genuine need to simplify the management of clinical rotations in nursing, we built a solution we can all feel proud of.
As we did our research and drew from our own experiences in the industry, we quickly identified the many challenges educational institutions, hospitals, and students frequently encounter when it comes to rotation scheduling.
We saw issues from juggling paperwork, adhering to compliance standards, streamlining communication, and coordinating busy schedules.
